Sunshine State Broadcasting is a team of video broadcast professionals.
We are helping our community by showcasing our talented students on the fields and on the courts!
Sunshine State Broadcasting, also known as “SSB” was formed from the production and on-air talent team that was working for Florida Sports Broadcasting (FSB/FSBJax.com). In the middle of the high school football season in September, 2024, the founding owner of FSB needed to relocate his operation to Texas.
We really wish Ray well in his future endeavors and are very thankful for what he started! We at SSB were given his blessing to take over but we also had to start completely from scratch. Not a cable was left behind. Understandably, (but unfortunately) he also took with him the website, Youtube channel (their subscribers), and all of the production equipment and gear.
As part of the remaining staff in Florida after our last game with FSB streaming a game, I recall we had a late night meeting and none of us had any reservations of what we needed to do next. Giving up would have meant that this would have left the high school sports without the broadcast streaming of their scheduled games, which included not only football, but basketball, soccer, volleyball, and baseball.
The “show” would go on! We not only decided we were going to continue, we were going to do it even better!
We felt that it was best to preserve as many of our previous relationships with schools, athletic directors, parents, sponsors, and of course all of the wonderful students who deserve to be showcased for all of their training and hard work and who make up the exciting highlights of these events!
Whether they are on the sports team, the cheerleading team, the band or drill team, these are exciting moments in these maturing students’ lives that will follow them and we are proud to capture through broadcast live streams these life-shaping events in a positive and memorable way. Families, friends, that great aunt in Bethesda, your parents’ parents or even their parents can watch their loved ones as the stars of the show!
This is the most exciting part of live streaming these events and this is what keeps us going. Thank you to all the schools, students, families, parents, school staff, sponsors and boosters for welcoming us into your community.
As “Your Local Community Broadcaster” Sunshine State Broadcasting is honored and proud to be a small part of these formative, memorable years. Bringing families, friends, and the entire community a little closer together in the best spirit of athletic competition and school pride all mixed with a little fun along the way.
Meet the Sunshine State Broadcasting Team!
